Class Q Barn Conversion

Our client had an under utilised agricultural building and asked us to assess the planning potential. The objective was to secure an additional revenue stream, and, if possible, add capital value to their property.

Having identified that conversion to residential units was the best option we looked at the most appropriate planning route to achieve this goal. Working with the client to ensure the building met the criteria, we submitted a "Class Q" application which uses very specific permitted development rights.
