Zahir bought an agricultural holding in Bradford for his goat and agricultural business. There were several buildings and caravans on the site which did not have planning.

He was therefore concerned that he may be asked to remove them from the land and lose use of the buildings, which would be seriously detrimental to his business. Planning can be challenging to obtain so we took a different approach and used a part of the legislation known as the 4-year-rule.

To be successful with this approach it is vital to amass clear and definitive evidence. Working with the client we were able to do this which led to a successful outcome. Securing the buildings and allowing the enterprise to continue.

If you want to get your development regularised, then time is of the essence with the 4-year rule looking set to become the 10-year rule.
