On Wednesday 2nd April we were joined by over 50 people at Cobblers Farm, home to Hannah Moule and Rob Collins.
Here, despite facing challenges, and with limited resources, Hannah and Rob have successfully built a thriving farming enterprise from the ground up.
This inspiring couple, both from farming backgrounds, were driven to create a sustainable future for their family. They purchased a 40 acre greenfield site, and through careful planning and determination, established a successful calf-rearing operation and permission for a family home.
As well as the sun shining, there were many event highlights:
- A fabulous farm tour, exploring Cobblers Farm and witnessing first hand their innovative calf-rearing facilities.
- Learning about the strategic planning process that led to the development of the farm and successful planning permission for a permanent rural workers dwelling.
- Our wonderful team of Planning Consultants had some great discussions with attendees about their own rural planning projects and farming challenges.
