The Rural Planning Co was founded by Hannah Moule. With a background in agriculture, Hannah completed a land management degree at Harper Adams and gained her qualifications at Worcester Livestock Market. Hannah subsequently set up her own small mixed Rural Chartered Surveying practice called Moule & Co in 2010. Moule & Co was originally established to offer a range of services and advice to farmers in the UK, and was based at her parents farm in North Worcestershire. In 10 years Moule & Co grew from 20 clients to over 800. As the business grew so did the amount of rural strategic planning consultancy work that was undertaken. By 2019 the planning consultancy work accounted for over 70% of the business. The decision was made in early 2020 to specialise in Rural Planning and The Rural Planning Co was born.
